These squares are a cut above the rest, meticulously CNC machined for maximum precision, every angle and every measurement is flawlessly accurate. You will produce impeccable results every time when utilising these squares in your woodworking projects.
Featuring engraved degree lines that will not wear away with time, the squares are crafted from high grade aluminium and finished with >15 micron thick protective anodised layer. The square incorporates a mixture of features and functions taken from quick and combination squares.
Mark or check a 90° angle or a 45° angle, the pivot point the lines up with the angle scale to mark out any angle between 10° and 90°. Scribe a perfectly straight line along the length of a board, the tapered marking hole fits a common pencil and keeps the angle true. Measure from the outside or inside scale from the edge of the butt, marking centres of 15mm and 18mm – common widths of MDF and other sheet materials. The outside scale can be very useful for measuring various machinery jobs, for example; height on router cutters, measuring for kitchen cupboards, furniture making, to square your bandsaw, machine setup and as a guide for 90° cuts with a circular saw.
Depending on the size of your task, the UJK Professional Woodworker's Marking Squares come in three different sizes: 150mm, 250mm and 350mm.
Radius triangles on the 250mm and 350mm squares (the 150mm has R6 and R10) in the centre of the squares can be used to easily mark furniture to assist in the removal of sharp edges and also make the squares more lightweight. Butts at different thicknesses: 7.5mm and 9mm, for quick marking centres of common sheet material
Tips: use a stair gauge for repetitive angle marking, opt for a 3-8H pencil to help with line accuracy.
Accuracy of square conforms to DIN 875 Grade 00. Calibration certificate included.
